Eligibility
The Companions of St. Luke ~ OSB believe that their community should reflect the heart of Christ when he says, "Come unto me", without regard to race, color or marital status. The Companions of St. Luke - OSB admits aspirants who are members in good standing in the Episcopal Church of the United States, in communion with the Anglican Church Worldwide, or a denomination having received the classification of “In Full Communion.” Their response to God’s call is a reflection and reaffirmation of their baptismal vows brought to a new level of reality in Christ. These are people of God who are on a spiritual journey, who desire a richer and deeper prayer life, are seeking healing and reconciliation for themselves and for those whom God has called to them to love. The aspirant desires to share his/her life and spiritual journey within the context of this Community, the Benedictine Rule, the Customary and Vows. Any condition that would challenge full participation in the Community must be shared with the Community prior to entry.
