About the iconographer: Brother Aelred+ is a Postulant of the Abbey of St. Benedict, Companions of St. Luke-OSB. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, he lives and works in Middleton, WI. He learned to paint holy icons by studying the works of masters ancient and modern. Brother Aelred+ uses professionally manufactured high quality icon boards and Liquitex acrylics to paint his icons following traditional patterns, canons, and techniques.
To order a print: As new hand-painted icons become available, you will have the opportunity to purchase them through our store. The proceeds of these sales are used to support the Abbey of St. Benedict and various ministries of the Companions of St. Luke-OSB.

Natural Greeting Cards are the artwork of Sister Julian, p/OSB of the
Companions of St. Luke. The Cards Are intended to appeal to the senses
and to be respectful of God's creation. Each Card is crafted
individually from all natural and recycled materials and infused with
gratitude for the bounty of the earth and the blessing of the beauty
that surrounds us.
Natural Greeting Cards are composed of stitched layers of handmade
papers and plant fibers, then embellished with gifts from the natural
world. The stitched cover is attached to a 5" x 7" blank card and
packaged with a matching envelope, both of 100% recycled paper. The card
and envelope are protected in a re-sealable biodegradable clear
cellophane sleeve.
